Job Description

A part-time position is available for an educator specializing in instructing visually impaired students within a K-12 school setting. This role is delivered via telehealth, offering the opportunity to provide essential instructional support remotely. The contract spans the entire school year and requires holding a valid New Mexico teaching license specific to the Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SLI endorsement).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with visual impairments.
  • Collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to maintain engaging, accessible learning experiences.
