Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Teaching License with a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education, preferably with a focus on visual impairments
• Experience working with students with visual impairments in a K-12 setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate instructional strategies
• Proficient in using assistive technology for students with visual impairments
