Located in Lowell, MA, this full-time position offers the opportunity to serve as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) providing specialized support to students with visual impairments. This contract role runs through the 20232024 school year and requires onsite presence.
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive TVI services to students, conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and collaborating with educators and families to enhance students learning experiences. The position manages a caseload consistent with typical TVI duties, focusing on fostering student independence and academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts TVI licensure is mandatory
- Experience working with visually impaired students and familiarity with related instructional strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
