Job Description

Providing specialized education services for students with visual impairments requires expertise, dedication, and a commitment to improving their learning experiences. This position offers an opportunity to serve K-12 students in a vibrant school setting within Clovis, CA, delivering comprehensive support and guidance to visually impaired learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instructional services tailored to visually impaired students.
  • Administer tests and assessments to evaluate student needs and progress.
  • Complete thorough evaluations to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to writing personalized IEPs.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to create effective learning environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Teaching License in Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for students with visual impairments.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and interpret evaluation data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

Location: Onsite position located in Clovis, CA.

Contract Details:
