Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license

  • Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive materials for students with visual impairments

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, tailoring strategies to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and related documentation
