Job Description

Opportunity for dedicated professionals specialized in educational support for students with visual impairments. This part-time, onsite role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating inclusive learning environments for children from Pre-K to 12th grade.

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license
Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in special education
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive materials for students with visual impairments

Location:

Boston, MA

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, tailoring strategies to meet individual needs
Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Maintain accurate records of student performance and related documentation
