Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (or eligibility)
- Experience working with students with hearing loss in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of various communication modalities and assistive technology
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for individual student needs
- Collaborative team member with strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with hearing impairments, individually or in groups
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school staff
- Adapt and modify lessons, materials, and assessments to ensure accessibility
- Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
- Empower students to self-advocate and maximize their independence and participation
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to IEP meetings
