Job Description

A part-time teaching opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing serving a K-12 caseload. This full-semester contract position requires 10-12 hours per month, with an onsite presence near Hollis, NH. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through June 17, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across K-12 grade levels.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Active licensure and certification in New Hampshire specific to teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
  • Demonstrated school-based experience working with this student population.
  • Ability to manage a K-12 caseload effectively.
  • Completion of district fingerprinting requirements.
  • Availability for an interview via Zoom.
  • Commitment to onsite work near Hollis, NH.
