An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced professional specializing in supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This full-time onsite position is based in Roxbury, MA for the duration of the school year, focusing on typical Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) responsibilities within a school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Valid MA TDHH licensure
  • Proven experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educators, staff, and families

Location: Roxbury, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored educational instruction to meet the diverse needs of deaf or hard of hearing students.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, modify, and implement IEPs.
