Job Description

This full-time teaching position offers an opportunity to work with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing during the 2025-2026 school year. The role requires a licensed Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to provide specialized instruction onsite at a school located in Roseville, CA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering individualized educational programs tailored to the unique needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across all grade levels (K-12).
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Using assistive technologies and communication strategies to enhance learning and accessibility.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and clinical advisory sessions to refine instructional practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state teaching license specifically for Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
  • Proven experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 setting.
  • Strong knowledge of communication methods such as sign language, auditory-oral approaches, and individualized accommodations.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues.
