Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated educator specializing in deaf and hard of hearing instruction. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 3 through May 21, engaging with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and providing specialized support to foster academic and personal success. Candidates may be considered for either onsite or potentially virtual assignments, offering some flexibility in work setting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Standard Professional Certificate in teaching
• Deaf/Hard of Hearing (K-12) Endorsement required
• IVP Fingerprint Card (current and valid)
• Previous experience teaching students who are deaf and/or hard of hearing strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and assistive technologies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
• Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized and group instruction for students with hearing impairments
• Evaluate student progress and track outcomes using data-driven strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive learning environments
• Provide guidance and resources for classroom accommodations and accessibility
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and required trainings
• Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
