Job Description

A part-time position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support a K-12 caseload in a school setting near Hollis, NH. This onsite role requires 10-12 hours per month, with a contract extending through June 17, 2026. The ideal candidate will have current New Hampshire licensure and certification, along with school-based experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Active NH licensure and certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Proven experience serving K-12 students in educational settings
  • Ability to commit to onsite work approximately 10-12 hours monthly
  • District fingerprinting clearance
  • Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized instructional plans tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to accommodate students' communication needs
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Providing direct services and consultative support throughout the academic year
