Job Description

This position is seeking a part-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support a K-12 caseload near Hollis, NH. The role requires servicing students onsite with an expected commitment of 10-12 hours per month. The contract spans a full semester, starting ASAP and concluding on June 17, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 grade levels.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students communication and learning needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in necessary meetings and evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire licensure and certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Demonstrated school-based experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Ability to commit 10-12 hours per month onsite near Hollis, NH.
  • Completion of district fingerprinting clearance.
  • Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.

Location: Near Hollis, New Hampshire (onsite requirement)
