Step into a meaningful role supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing in an educational environment near Haverhill, MA. This part-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population ranging from PreK to age 22, providing both consultative and direct services. Youll make a direct impact on the educational journey of 43 students, with most responsibilities focused on consultative support.

Qualifications:

  • Current MA TDHH (Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) credential required
  • Experience supporting students with hearing differences in educational settings preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, accessible learning environment

Position Highlights:

  • Part-time schedule: 24 hours per week, working 3 days each week
  • Manage a caseload of 43 students, spanning PreK through 22 years old
  • Primarily consultative work, offering expertise, resources, and strategies to classroom teachers and school teams
  • Deliver direct instruction and support as needed to families and students
  • Collaborate on IEP development, progress monitoring, and accommodations
  • Work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to student success
