Job Description

Provide specialized educational support as a Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 school setting in Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week from the start date ASAP through the end of the school year. The role focuses on delivering both direct and indirect therapy services, managing individualized case plans, and consistently tracking student progress to foster academic and social development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting case management activities tailored to the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.
  • Providing targeted direct and indirect therapy services aimed at enhancing communication and learning.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress to adjust instructional strategies effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado license as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Experience working with K-12 students with hearing impairments is highly beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage diverse caseload requirements.
