Job Description

This full-time position offers an opportunity for a licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support K-12 students in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on delivering specialized educational services tailored to students with hearing impairments. The position is a contract role lasting from ASAP through the end of the school year, averaging 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage individual case files and coordinate services for students
  • Provide both direct and indirect therapy services designed to enhance communication and learning outcomes
  • Track and report student progress regularly to support educational planning and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing license issued by the state of Colorado is required
  • Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage caseloads and collaborate with educational teams
