Job Description

A full-time teaching position is available for a dedicated professional specializing in support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. This role focuses on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for middle school and high school students, fostering both academic and social development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois TDHH (Teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience teaching diverse student populations, particularly in middle and high school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop tailored educational plans to meet individual student needs
  • Proficiency in sign language and other communication methods

Responsibilities:
