This contract opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher serving middle school students in Worcester, MA. The role supports students in grades 4 through 7 and requires a Massachusetts Special Education Teacher Certification with moderate and/or moderate/severe licensure.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid MA Special Education Teacher Certification with moderate and/or moderate/severe licensure
• Experience working with middle school students, preferably grades 4-7
• Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students individual needs in a middle school setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and behavioral goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress regularly
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Location: Worcester, MA
Duration: Contract, full school year (CSY)
