This role offers a regular schedule of 37.5 hours per week across 5 days. You will work with students who require individualized instruction, implementing adapted curriculum and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education guidelines. Your ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff will be key as you advocate for each learners unique needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Texas special education certification (required)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Ability to develop IEPs, adapt instruction, and use specialized strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with best practices in differentiated instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to K-12 learners
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and team members
• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and professional development
• Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation
