This full-time, onsite position runs from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and offers the exciting opportunity to support students in specialized settings, with five positions available. As a Special Education Teacher, youll be instrumental in creating a positive and structured learning experience for your students near Woodburn, OR.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Special Education (SPED) teaching certification/license in Oregon
• Demonstrated expertise working with elementary students exhibiting challenging behaviors, including physical aggression and elopement from buildings
• Substantial experience managing a high-volume Learning Resource Classroomhandling an average caseload of approximately 43 students
• Strong classroom management abilities, with proven strategies for creating supportive, inclusive environments
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Manage and adapt to behavioral incidents, employing evidence-based interventions and de-escalation strategies
• Teach across behavior-focused and high-volume resource classrooms, ensuring each student receives personalized support
• Foster a safe, structured, and encouraging classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, school staff, and families to drive student success
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
