An immediate opening is available for a Special Education Teacher with a Gifted Education endorsement to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Whites City, NM. This full-time, contract position runs for the upcoming school year (NSY) and involves working 37.5 hours per week primarily onsite, with options for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to elementary-level students with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support gifted students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services.
• Adhere to all applicable state and district policies related to special and gifted education.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license.
• Gifted Education endorsement added to the New Mexico teaching license.
• Proven professional experience working in school settings.
• Ability to manage a caseload of elementary students effectively.
