Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a full-time, contract assignment starting mid-April through June. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification (N-12, N-8, or 7-12)
• Experience or willingness to be trained in TACT-2 behavior management methods, including the ability to apply appropriate restraint techniques when necessary
• Competency with basic computer functions and readiness to use both CIU-20 computer-based and web-based programs
• Strong commitment to individualized student support and collaborative teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet the varied needs of elementary students receiving special education services
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), maintaining compliance with district and state requirements
• Apply TACT-2 behavioral assessment techniques effectively, responding proactively to behavioral challenges in the classroom
• Utilize technology for grading, progress tracking, and communication with staff and families
• Collaborate regularly with support staff, classroom teachers, and administration to facilitate a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
• Attend meetings and professional development sessions as needed during the assignment
