Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Utah Special Education License/Certification (required)
• Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs, particularly in a life skills or K-3 setting
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Teach life skills curriculum to K-3 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet varying student abilities
• Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment for learners with different backgrounds and needs
• Collect data and track progress for each student, regularly reporting on outcomes
• Coordinate with other educators, therapists, and support personnel to enhance student success
• Engage with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and service
