An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students across multiple locations in Delaware County, PA. This role involves working within elementary education settings, primarily focused on early childhood special education, and the position is structured as a contract for the current school year.

Location:

• Delaware County, PA
• Broomall, Aston, and Folcroft campus sites

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in early childhood special education settings
• Manage a caseload consisting of three classrooms: Marple Education Center (Broomall), Aston Early Childhood Education Center, and Folcroft Campus
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique requirements
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and school staff to facilitate student progress and inclusion
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Certification in Special Education teaching, preferably with experience working in early childhood education
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, student-centered learning environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and professionals
• Experience managing multiple caseloads and working across different school sites
