Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL); please provide a current copy with your application
  • Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar classroom setting
  • Strong background in supporting students with IEPs and specialized learning needs
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and resource support to students with special education needs in the resource room
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
  • Track progress and document student growth throughout the academic year
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
  • Maintain a positive, structured learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement
