Job Description
This full-time position is for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school in Waukegan, IL. The role is a contract position for the next school year, working onsite with a caseload of 10-12 students in a self-contained, cross-categorical classroom. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized instruction tailored to each students educational and developmental goals
- Managing a self-contained classroom environment for students with varying disabilities

Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
- Ability to manage a self-contained, cross-categorical classroom with a caseload of 10-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
