Job Description

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year in a high school located in Warwick, RI. This is a contract role designed to support students with individualized education programs (IEPs) and provide crucial academic and behavioral assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized, one-on-one academic, behavioral, and social support to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement IEP goals, classroom activities, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Support the development and progress of students with diverse learning needs.
  • Monitor and report on student progress in line with IEP objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current paraprofessional certification or equivalent experience in a school setting.
