A Special Education Teacher position is available to support students with mild to moderate special needs in a K-12 school setting. This full-time contractual role runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, and requires in-person teaching.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs
• Collaborating with staff, families, and specialists to ensure effective support strategies
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with all legal and educational regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with students who have mild to moderate special education needs is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
