Job Description

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in Warren, MI. This contract role runs from ASAP until May 2026 and involves working full time from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The primary responsibility is teaching in the Elementary Resource Room, focusing on Reading, Math, and Writing.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Special Education Teacher within an elementary school setting and demonstrate skills in delivering targeted interventions. Strong collaboration with general education teachers and support staff is essential to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialized instruction in Reading, Math, and Writing aligned with IEP goals
