Job Description
This opportunity is for three Special Education Teacher positions in a K-12 school setting located in Waltham, MA. These contract roles are designed to cover leave assignments, providing full-time hours with a focus on middle and high school age groups. The positions require candidates to hold a valid Massachusetts Special Education license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
- Utilize effective instructional strategies and accommodations to support students with diverse learning challenges.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (required).
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students in a special education setting.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Waltham, Massachusetts
Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
