Qualifications:

  • Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate (required)
  • Idaho State Teaching Certificate (required)
  • Special Education (SPED) Endorsement (required)
  • Previous ERC (Emotional/Behavioral Regulation Classroom) experience preferred
  • Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • Willingness to assist with toileting and support a range of student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to K-12 students with a mix of disabilities and severities
  • Collaboratively develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster inclusive classroom environments and advocate for each students unique learning needs
  • Track, measure, and communicate progress to families and educational partners
  • Maintain compliance with local and state regulations
