Sunbelt is currently seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Digital Special Education Teacher to join our team, serving K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses in the state of Oregon. Job Details:

• Position: Digital Special Education Teacher
• Location: Oregon (Virtual/Remote)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses in a digital learning environment.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Utilize virtual tools and platforms to engage students in interactive and inclusive learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and related service providers to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, assessments, and IEPs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Oregon Teaching License with Special Education endorsement.
• Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
• Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of assessments and IEP development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual/remote setting.
