Sunbelt is seeking a passionate Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team, providing exceptional educational services to K-12 students in Nebraska. If you're an experienced Special Education Teacher with a heart for making a difference, we want to hear from you!

Job Details:

  • Position: Virtual Special Education Teacher
  • Location: Nebraska (Virtual/Remote)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with diverse needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and related service providers for a comprehensive educational experience.
  • Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and IEPs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Nebraska Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
  • Experience working with K-12 students with diverse needs.
  • Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and technologies.
  • Knowledge of assessments and IEP development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
