Location: Flint, MI

Qualifications:

  • Valid MI Special Education Teaching License
  • Michigan Teacher Certificate with Learning Disabilities endorsement
  • Preferred endorsements: Emotional Impairment (EI) & Cognitively Impaired (CI)

Location:

  • Onsite position in Flint, MI, with a preference for candidates comfortable in an urban district setting. Virtual options are available for those residing in Michigan.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to facilitate effective learning experiences.
  • Conduct assessments and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to strategies.
  • Collaborate with families, school staff, and support personnel to create a cohesive educational plan.
  • Maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
