Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher experienced in telehealth services within a full inclusion high school setting. This contract position spans the current school year and requires delivering a full scope of special education services remotely, supporting students in achieving their individualized goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering virtual instruction and support tailored to students with diverse learning needs
  • Managing and maintaining accurate student data and progress records
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to promote goal attainment
  • Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to engage students in a virtual learning environment

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Demonstrated experience in a full inclusion setting at the high school level
  • Proven ability to deliver special education services via telehealth or virtual platforms
  • Strong skills in data management related to student progress and IEP compliance
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams remotely
  • Commitment to fostering student growth through individualized, goal-centered instruction
