Special Education Teacher Job Opportunity in Connecticut

Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district nearStratford, Connecticut to locate a Special Education Teacher. Thisfull-time position will support students in achieving their academic and social-emotional goals through tailored instruction and accommodations.

Job Qualifications:

Connecticut DOE Certification.
Special Education Certification.
Experience working with high school students in a special education setting is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Monday-Friday, Based on School Calendar
Develop and implement individualized education plans for high school students with mild-to-moderate disabilities.
Coordinate with general education staff to provide accommodations and support in inclusive classroom settings.
Facilitate IEP meetings and track student progress in partnership with families and support staff.
