A Special Education Teacher is needed to support K-12 students with mild to moderate learning needs in a contract role lasting through June 12, 2026. This in-person position provides an opportunity to positively impact student growth by developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each learner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute IEPs that address the unique needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

• Provide direct instruction and support in various subjects and settings
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification with SPED endorsement in Michigan required
• Experience working with K-12 students who have mild to moderate special education needs preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles
