A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in an elementary school setting, specializing in pre-kindergarten and 1st-grade students. This role involves providing dedicated support to a substantially separate classroom with fewer than ten students who have moderate to severe special needs. The position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), and candidates open to traveling assignments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support in a substantially separate classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all special education regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with young children in pre-kindergarten and 1st-grade levels.
• Ability to manage a classroom with moderate to severe special needs students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for assignments.
