Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher license
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card (current and active)
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction for diverse learners
  • Experience adapting curriculum and crafting individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction tailored to students unique learning needs and strengths
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state requirements and best practices
  • Create an inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters each childs academic, social, and emotional development
  • Work closely with paraprofessionals and other specialists to provide holistic support
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, sharing progress and collaborating on student goals
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training

This position is structured for 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, ensuring consistency and a balanced schedule while you make a real difference in students lives.
