A Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Salem, NH, beginning October 1, 2025, for the contract school year (CSY). This role offers the chance to support up to 20 students in a classroom setting with individualized education programs (IEPs). The position entails working 37.5 hours per week or a 3-day work schedule, providing flexibility to fit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized special education instruction aligned with students IEPs
• Manage a classroom caseload of up to 20 elementary students
• Collaborate with paraeducators and other support staff who provide supervision and assistance
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families and school staff
• Participate in training and onboarding processes specific to the district

Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching license is required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings preferred
