Job Description

This contract opportunity focuses on serving preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) in a center-based setting dedicated to playful, foundational learning. Through embedded intervention and small class sizes, youll help children with disabilities reach important developmental milestones and set the stage for future success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Early Childhood Special Education teaching license required
  • Experience in early childhood or special education settings, preferably with children ages 3-5
  • Strong knowledge of child development and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Skilled in collaborating with families, support staff, and related service providers
  • Proficient in conducting formal and informal child assessments and classroom observations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction and intervention rooted in play and daily routines, supporting childrens growth across developmental domains
  • Create and update IEPs, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to inform goal-setting and personalize instruction
  • Collaborate closely with families, teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals
  • Mentor and lead paraprofessionals supporting children in the classroom
  • Foster a positive classroom environment using appropriate behavior and social-emotional strategies
  • Support seamless integration of intervention services within daily classroom activities
