A K-12 school in Saint Paul, MN is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to fill full-time contract positions for the current school year. These roles require dedication to supporting students with special needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Caseload: Approximately 8 students per teacher
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in special education
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching special education
- Positions open at elementary, middle school, and high school levels
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
