Job Description

A Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school in Saint Paul, MN, for the upcoming school year. This onsite, contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek and focuses on supporting students with developmental cognitive disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with developmental cognitive disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Monitor student performance and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher licensure
  • Experience working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies and behavioral interventions
  • Ability to work onsite and manage a full caseload effectively
