A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Rockford, MI, serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 2026 and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive K-12 environment with self-contained classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Manage self-contained classrooms prioritizing emotional and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with emotional impairments or autism spectrum disorder
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Emotional Impairment certification or Autism endorsement required
• Experience teaching in self-contained special education classrooms preferred
