Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in education as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in a mental health/behavior self-contained program for the 2026-2027 school year. What were looking for:
- Current New Hampshire Teaching License (required)
- Experience working with students in mental health and/or behavioral self-contained programs preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, case management, and student evaluations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized lessons based on student need
- Excellent communication and organization skills to manage reports, meetings, and family collaboration
- Passion for supporting student growth and promoting positive learning environments
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing instruction to a caseload of around 10 to 16 students
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Conducting student evaluations and progress reports
- Leading or participating in case management meetings and collaborating with school teams
- Creating behavior intervention plans and supporting social-emotional learning
This position offers a weekly schedule of 32.5-35 hours, following school hours from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM, allowing for a great balance between professional and personal commitments.
