A specialized opportunity is available for a committed Special Education Teacher to support a K-12 caseload in Rochester, New Hampshire. This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week and focuses on providing instructional support to students with moderate disabilities across resource and life skills classroom settings.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), behavioral disorders (BD), learning disabilities (LD), and other moderate special needs. The role involves working primarily in resource classrooms with additional push-in services to general education settings. An option to split time between a life skills program and resource rooms is also available, providing a varied and rewarding teaching experience.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials
• Proven experience working with K-12 students with moderate disabilities
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management skills adaptable to resource and life skills environments
