Job Description

A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed to serve as an IEP case manager for middle school students in a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work throughout the current school year, supporting students with individualized education plans and collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and write individualized education programs (IEPs) for middle school students with special needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure student progress.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet educational goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all special education regulations and timelines.
  • Participate in meetings and provide documentation as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Proven experience working with middle school students in K-12 settings.
  • Strong skills in writing IEPs and case management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and guidelines.
