Desired Qualifications:
- Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License (must be current)
- Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience supporting students with emotional disabilities, autism, and intensive behavior needs
- Skills in developing and implementing federally and state-compliant special education services and documentation
- Knowledge of at-risk, limited English, and exceptional student populations
- E.E.E.I.-trained or willingness to complete staff development as required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide structured, intensive support in self-contained classrooms for students requiring behavior and social-emotional intervention
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Use a variety of strategies to foster prosocial and self-regulatory skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diverse learners needs
- Ensure adherence to district, state, and federal educational guidelines
