Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher license
- IVP (Identity Verified Prints) fingerprint clearance card required
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- An enthusiastic, compassionate, and patient approach to teaching
What Youll Do:
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
- Provide direct instruction and classroom support to students with varying exceptionalities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies to maximize success
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Create engaging classroom activities designed to build social, emotional, and academic growth
