Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Certification
  • Bachelors Degree in Education or related field; Masters preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in special education
  • Proven ability to collaborate with educational leaders and support staff

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard and train special education team members while ensuring accountability
  • Provide coaching and support to special education leadership
  • Collaborate with assistant principals and principals to implement SDIs and positive behavior support plans for students in general education settings
  • Work alongside the director of student support to facilitate access to positive behavior support plans
  • Plan for extended school year (ESY) programs and oversee all state testing efforts for special education
  • Cultivate relationships with outside stakeholders, including agencies and educational organizations
