Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to support elementary students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or physical disabilities in a full-time, maternity leave coverage role from October 15, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction tailored to each students unique needs.
  • Provide consistent support and interventions to promote academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to implement effective strategies and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with families and staff as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) issued TOSD (Teacher of Students with Disabilities) or TOH (Teacher of the Handicapped) certification.
  • Experience teaching students with significant disabilities in an elementary school setting.
